AGA Highlights at G2E 2025

The American Gaming Association (AGA) is front and center at this year’s expo, offering attendees a wealth of resources and insights. Visitors are encouraged to explore the AGA Commons space and the eye-opening Illegal Market Decoder Wall located near registration. AGA representatives emphasized the importance of staying informed throughout the week: “Follow along with the American Gaming Association to stay on top of important show information and check out expo highlights throughout the week!”

Yesterday, Mackenzie Haugh, Chief Delivery Officer, and Joseph Bunevith, Vice President of Government and Regulatory Affairs, launched the week with impactful sessions focused on technology, artificial intelligence, and compliance in gaming. “We’re thrilled for what’s ahead—see you at Booth #4419,” they added.


UK Gambling Commission Joins Global Regulatory Dialogue

Sarah Gardner, Deputy Chief Executive of the UK Gambling Commission, is attending G2E 2025 and participated in a pivotal panel session titled “Regulating a Growing Global Gambling Industry: Challenges, Strategies, and International Collaboration.” Alongside regulators from North America, Gardner explored the evolving responsibilities of regulatory bodies in maintaining industry integrity, protecting consumers, and fostering transparent markets amid rapid global expansion.

Yesterday October 6, the National Indian Gaming Commission (NIGC) presented a crucial session on the “Requirements of IGRA and Pitfalls of Non-Compliance.” Attendees could share valuable insights into regulatory frameworks and best practices for tribal gaming operations.

IAGA Opens Best Practices Roundtable

The International Association of Gaming Advisors (IAGA) kicked off its G2E Best Practices sessions with a high-level regulatory roundtable. Moderated by Edward Winkofsky, the panel featured Khalid Jones (Virginia Lottery), Mike Dreitzer (Nevada Gaming Control Board), Sarah Gardner (UK Gambling Commission), and Michael Leara (Missouri Gaming Commission). The discussion centered on the challenges and opportunities regulators face in a rapidly growing industry and underscored the importance of international collaboration.

Brazil's Market Launch: Key Insights and Data: This session explained how to leverage real-time market data, the impact of the new regulatory framework and operator compliance.

Elevating the Felt: How Progressive Tech is Transforming Table Games. The focus of the session was on how progressive technology is changing table game play. “The best thing that table games took from slots was ‘life-changing’ jackpots.” That statement came from Douglas Vogelei, the VP of gaming at Mohegan Sun the-morning panel at G2E.

As Day One came to a close, G2E united its community in a heartfelt toast, celebrating shared milestones and new beginnings.
